03 — Top-ups
Out of credits? Top up, don't upgrade.
Top-ups are one-time purchases at your plan's rate. They apply instantly and never expire while you are subscribed.

Four rules govern every credit on your account. They are the same rules written into the terms.

Plan credits
Granted on every billing date, spent first. They reset monthly — no rollover, what you do not use ends with the period.

Top-up credits
Top-up credits never expire while a subscription is active and survive plan changes.

Spend order
Plan credits are spent first, then top-up credits, oldest first.

If you cancel
If you cancel, unused top-up credits are parked for 12 months. Resubscribe within 12 months and they come back. Plan credits end with the billing period.

The fine print, answered
Is there a free trial?
No. The cheapest way to evaluate is Starter at €9/month for 150 credits, cancelled anytime. Before spending a single credit you can preview any cost with --estimate, and a verification is 0.02 credits.
Can I pay yearly?
No. Plans are EUR-only and billed monthly. There are no yearly contracts, no seats, and no hidden tiers — the three plans on this page are the whole catalog.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, from the billing portal in your dashboard, effective at the end of the paid period. The CLI keeps working until then.
What happens to my credits if I cancel?
If you cancel, unused top-up credits are parked for 12 months. Resubscribe within 12 months and they come back. Plan credits end with the billing period. Nothing is silently deleted on day one.
What if I run out of credits mid-month?
Buy a top-up at your plan's rate, minimum €5 per purchase. It applies instantly, and top-up credits never expire while you stay subscribed.
How do I pay?
Checkout and billing run on Stripe. Cards plus the local payment methods Stripe supports in your country. Invoices and receipts are available in the billing portal.
Can I get invoices with company details and a VAT ID?
Yes. Enter your company name, address, and VAT ID at checkout or later in the billing portal — they appear on every invoice. ContactCTL is sold B2B from the EU (Slovenia), so EU reverse-charge rules apply where relevant.
Do bigger plans unlock more features?
No. Every plan runs the identical command surface with the same guarantees. Plans differ in exactly two numbers: monthly credits and the top-up rate.
